Carol’s Story

In 2009, Carol’s husband, Michael, was diagnosed with cancer. Understanding the prognosis was a process which unfolded over time for Carol, Michael, and their medical team.

Meaningful conversations with their care providers helped Carol and her family make important decisions on how to live their best life as a family in the face of serious illness.
